Chocolate Theme Translation

I am French (google translation)

 

I wanted to translate the theme "chocolate" by creating a "Chocolate-strings-fr" file.

But when I run Emby in WMC, everything is in English and my "Chocolate-strings-fr" file is overwritten and replaced with the English content

How do I make my translation work ?

Make a copy of the English one and leave it as - copy.txt. then just overwrite the default strings.

 

Also don't forget to add an increment to the version number.

 

So if it's at 1.0.0.21 change the 21 to a 22, so you will have 1.0.0.22 and save, this will force the new changes.

Hello,

I'm back after 1 year, and I have the same problem with a different theme.

I installed the theme "Imperium" and impossible to translate.

I created a new file "imperium-strings-fr"

change several times the version number at the end,

change the file encoding

I also try to translate the original file "imperium-strings-en"

....

 

but nothing works

the file is automatically replaced with the English words to launch Emby.

 

If someone an idea
