TV Show Sub-Season Folders Scrape Show as 'Season 1'

Testing on the Dev build released today on a 'Showname\Season Number\Episode Name.mkv' structure of TV Shows and am finding that often if the season-number folder contains sub-folders - including XBMC metadata such as the '.actors' sub-folder - then that season gets scraped as it's own show. (So you'll end up with a bunch of shows called 'Season 1' - with the episodes in them.)

I'm not sure if MB3 metadata folder would cause this as well. Also not 100% sure how we'd circumvent this. Either a keyword filter - or maybe only recursing just one folder below the Showname folder?

An example of a problematic file structure that seems to produce this:

'Showname\Season ##\.actors\JamesSpader.jpg'

I don't recall this affecting earlier builds so I'm guessing it's related to recent code changes.

Its doing this to me as well ALL my season 1 folders are showing up as actors PLEASE FIX THIS

You can simply add a .ignore file in the folders to avoid that. Emby will ignore these and i guess kodi won't.

Hi @@Syber, can you please discuss a specific example? Perhaps show a screenshot to demonstrate your issue. That would be very helpful. Thanks !

Hi @@Syber, can we focus on the Emby web app? What do you see there? Can you also show us a screenshot of the folders? thanks !

Yes, what is the full path to the actors folder?

/Volumes/HD Movies/Z Emby Test/TV Shows/The Flash/actors

For kodi, documentation says it is supposed to be:

/Volumes/HD Movies/Z Emby Test/TV Shows/The Flash/.actors

Note the dot in front of the actors. If you do it that way, the folder will be ignored.
