Cant auto connect Win Media Center 7 client to Win 10 Server

I upgraded the PC the server runs on from Win 7 to Win 10 and have not been able to get the Win 7 macine with the MCE client to auto connect. I can manually log in just fine. I have reinstalled both client and server and also changed the advanced setting to find automatically. So far nothing has worked. Prior to the upgrade, never had any connection issues.

We'll need a log but it sounds like an issue with UDP discovery.  Check your firewall.

So i disabled the firewall and it connects right up. I checked that the right port was listed in the allowed apps setting though. Is there supposed to be another entry to allow it through?

Yes, you will need to allow UDP traffic as well as TCP.

I think that did the trick. Added the UDP entry in the firewall and it is connecting again. Thanks alot!
