space2001 18 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 All of a sudden any movie or tv I try and play will not work. Using Google chrome. I have started the server and the computer several times. Looking at the tasks manager ffmpeg is there a couple times. Everything was fine until today. Right now ffmpeg is using 80% of CPU and it looks like me transcoding-temp folder keeps getting new ts files
Happy2Play 9783 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 How about a server and transcode log. Didn't have any issues here transcoding in Chrome.
space2001 18 Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 here they are server-63581846400.txt transcode-843635d1-4a04-4661-a503-bc0e39e6a849.txt
Luke 42083 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 i think it is just taking longer to start due to the burning in of subtitles.
space2001 18 Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 The issue is even when I stop it ffmpeg is running 80% of cpu for a long time then I can't play anything after at all.
Luke 42083 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 there is an open issue where if you stop playback before it has actually started then ffmpeg will be left running, so that is why that's happening. anyway i pushed an update to the release, (without incrementing the version to avoid updating everyone), that will increase the threshold for subtitle extraction to avoid burning them in. you could try that.
space2001 18 Posted October 31, 2015 Author Posted October 31, 2015 ok went to update. It seems to be a issue with that movie. other movies seem to be ok. But once I play that movie things get weird
