billy_ray 19 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 I like that I have a Halloween them automatically setup when I access from the web client. How is that achieved? Is it baked in and enabled with a timer? 1
billy_ray 19 Posted October 30, 2015 Author Posted October 30, 2015 Basically, yes. Awesome. Nice job.
Ian-Highlander 147 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Out of curiosity, having disabled it when it gave me the option is there a way to re-enable it. Is it just an option in a config file somewhere or something? Are other themes planned for the web interface (or are there already ones I haven't seen)?
Luke 42080 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 clear your browsing data and it should come back.
Ian-Highlander 147 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Ahh so it's cookie based rather than a config file option *stops hunting through config files* thanks @@Luke Any plans for other themes ?
JeremyFr79 228 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 This is pretty awesome, nice work guys!
Kent 92 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Awesome treat guys, and really nice touch on the Android TV client as well!
oldschool 16 Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 (edited) How do you turn the theme on or off? Nevermind - when you click the icon, it asks whether you want it to continue. Thank you Emby team!! Very cool theme! Edited October 30, 2015 by oldschool
Chillout 110 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 All I can say is 'you rock' to the genius that provides creative direction to all things Emby. From the website, to the wonderful interface; everything looks so very professional that it would put a team of Microsoft marketing executives to shame. The Halloween theme was just the last over the top thing that made me feel compelled to comment.
Nathanio 35 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Does that mean you're going to have a Christmas and major holidays version as well?
speechles 2055 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 (edited) Is there going to be one for birthdays? Where we tell it each users birth month/day/year and it stores that in user settings so it knows. On their birthday when they log in emby sings them "happy birthday". Birthday cake background. Candle icons in spots, etc. If age is 40 or higher it uses black balloon icons instead of candles. Themes are a fun idea for the web client. Edited October 31, 2015 by speechles 2
AlwinHummels 134 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Is it possible to create our own time based templates now? I like a "Sinterklaas theme" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinterklaas. If yes a how to would be nice 1
Uroth 0 Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Hello, Is there a way to disable the music and howls? I dont mind the theme, but I dont want the jingle or any other kind of sounds
