New user - Folders with metadata already

Long term lurker. Today's post about photos tipped me over to emby

 

So as I start the server install, I am wondering what I should do with my existing metadata inside my folders

Due to a server rebuild I have my data backed up and I wondering should I copy the old mymovies metadata/coverart over or just dump it and let emby find the coverart itself?

That's up to you. Do you want to use your existing metadata? If so then I would just leave it where it is.
