JaredC79 0 Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I guess I have it set up correctly but now it is asking me for a password for my server. I don't ever remember setting up a password. I also installed and uninstalled the server a number of times since i changed and upgraded a number of parts and it's basically a new computer and see like 4 listed - all with the same friendly name. How do erase my server password so LAN clients do not have to sign in? I have to reload client Emby repository also but how do I make sure I delete all the other servers that aren't in use
bluemonkey07 590 Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 So you should be configuring the server via the web client first and when everything is to your liking there move onto your clients.... Wrt rasp I assume you mean some variation of kodi... If you have problems there you should post you issues in the kodi section of this forum for more help
JaredC79 0 Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 yes it is connected via lan - there isn't a password that I know of local - I deleted the other servers. worked perfect made a change and now every problem in the book. I am gonna make sure I have no password at all again - gives me a password prompt and never did before and then says cant connect to server. Once I get this square away I am going to have to put a fresh copy of kodi in it, BTW, if I have an ulbum that is listed as un known for some reason, then label the artiest and album will the remaining info populate like songs and meta data?
bluemonkey07 590 Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Who are you responding to? Your post doesn't seem to relate to mine at all and I'm the only person who has posted.,.. Very confusing
