cw-kid 192 Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Hi Just read this: Version 1.1.52 This version will force you to reset your database. This is necessary to get your userviews back on track. If you want to have the previous behavior where the add-on would sync your library sections individually, go to your emby dashboard > user icon(right) > settings > home screen settings > Make sure everything under "My Views" is unchecked. If your content is grouped under a main category under "My Views", it will now be respected in Kodi, in which case you may need to recreate your Kodi shortcuts. So previously in Kodi I had created a favourite from the Kids Movies Emby shortcut and created an icon on the skins main menu. This no longer works and looking in Videos - Kids Movies was now missing. So I went in to the Home Screen Settings - My Views in the web gui and unchecked Kids Movies. Now in Kodi - Videos I see a Kids Movies Emby shortcut again. But when you go in to this no movies are displayed. So does it need a full re-sync now again? Also in the My Views in the web gui I still have Movies checked in here, should this also be unchecked? All of this is a bit confusing now! Cheers
cw-kid 192 Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 In Kodi there is also a "Channels" Emby shortcut. Is that new and what's it for? Nothing in there when I go in though. And I can see the "Favourite Movies" and "Favourite Shows" shortcuts, I did previously add some movies to favourites in the Emby web gui and now I can see them in Kodi, don't remember being able to do that previously.

Yes you need to re-sync again - I agree it is confusing, but it matches how other Emby apps behave. As to channels, I only have the Trailers channel installed, but I do see it in there. 1

Angelblue05 4132 Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Sorry, it was brought up to me that "my views" were not respected when we were creating sections in Kodi, like the rest of the apps. We were the only app to follow your media folders in your library section rather than "my views" preferences . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
