smokazz 1 Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Team, I just wanted to make you all aware of an issue that I am noticing becoming more frequent as time goes on. This isn't the first time that this has happened and looking through the logs, i cannot seem to figure out why a show will start to record, but end before the shows is finished. I am aware of the bug for watching DVR while something is recording and pausing, FF/RR kills any active recording, but last night, i was watching live tv and did not pause it. I am running the most current stable release 3.0.5724.6 and i was watching live tv via andriod TV 1.1.05g. I have two shows that I was recording, The Walking Dead at 9p and Quantico and 10p. I found where the timer was fired and where i believe it was killed, but nothing in between seems to lead me to a reason for the recording to stop. At any rate, I know you are all busy but if you can take a look at this and let me know if there is more info you need or if you are already aware of this issue, please let me know. Thanks for all you guys do! 10.19.15.txt.7z
ebr 16169 Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Is there any chance that there may be some sort of signal disruption happening at those times? I only have an OTA setup and not the best reception and, when playing live TV if the signal is interrupted for long enough, the transcoding is stopped and I'm kicked out of the player. This may be completely unrelated but just a possibility.
smokazz 1 Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 ebr, I suppose anything is possible but I am not using OTA, still paying FiOS and using an HDHRPrime. I probably should've mentioned that in the first post - my bad. Thanks.
Sleerts 0 Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I'm getting this as well with almost all of my recordings now and I believe Chief Bottle Washer might be onto something as I've noticed pixelation on my cable provided set top box from time to time.
Smok@zz 4 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Any update to this? Since i am not using OTA signals, pixelation shouldn't be an issue right? I haven't noticed any pixelation during live tv or playback of recordings. Thanks.
ebr 16169 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Any chance that someone started watching Live TV at those times?
Smok@zz 4 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I honestly can't remember now it's been too long. Perhaps the log has that info? Also we only have one TV that can utilize emby so it certainly wasn't someone else in the house Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
