I only ask because i run a raspberry pi headless for audio only in the bedroom and the time it takes to re-sync the database is enormous. Having the option to only sync the Music or Video or Both would be great.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 For now, you could create an additional user and give it access to only your music library section. Sync that user to Kodi and you are set.

reggierat 18 Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 Thanks for the suggestions, for now i'm happy to put up with the long re-sync time just so i don't have to tell my wife she needs to change users before playing music in the bedroom, but think it would be a handy option in the future.
reggierat 18 Posted October 19, 2015 Author Posted October 19, 2015 I'm not sure if I'm following, or maybe I'm misunderstanding. I was just enquiring about the option to not sync the video database on a certain device, a RPi. The actually user in Emby server would still have audio and video.
