Paths and Devices

When i am in my server and clicking around, UpNp devices are showing up which is actually something that can same me a huge headache and nightmare.  I have a SACD/DVD server that can host 3 400 disc players.  To rip that much media would take a while to say the least.  The company who made the server (ESCIENT) filed bankruptcy a few months back and pretty much all the metadata is missing and needs to be reentered - which would be a manual process.  If i relabel all the movies like how EMBY needs to pull the metadata, would it be able to add that path? I would need to use a USB component capture card and run VLC to direct play over the network but i don't mind since 1, i rather have the metadata and presentation from EMBY/KODI and everything is in one GUI.  Please help me solve this nightmare - ripping is great but having some good ol fashion discs isn't a bad thing sometimes.  This is a large house with multiple surround sound set ups and 8 TVs so if bandwidth is low, it can toggle to component or HDMI after up conversion.

 

Please help me complete my dream system and avoid this nightmare.
