UNC Paths or Path Substitution?

HI,

 

i like to know what is better for "Performance" and/or latency on Emby Server...

 

All devices in the LAN use Direkt Play (it works with UNC and Path Substitution)

 

Outside the LAN (which use transcoding mostly) a Chromecast, FireTV (Stick and Box) WinPhones and Android.

 

So what would be the best choice? Or it´s doesn't matter how i set up the library's?

Technically, path substitution is the best choice.  Whether you see any real difference...not sure.
