How to go back

Hello,

 

I recently bought a Beelink X2 TV Box from GearBest.

 

It works pretty good, but I can not figure out how to go backwards in the Android TV app. 

 

For example, when I go into movies, I can not go back to the main screen.  On the remote, I have a return button.

 

I also have a keyboard connected to the device.  When using a keyboard, how do I go backwards?

I'm not sure what it maps to on a device like that but we are responding to the standard remote "back" button.

I found the keymap file on the device (which came rooted out of the box) for the remote. 

 

key 4 BACK    WAKE_DROPPED

 

I confirmed that the button is key number 4, so it should be working.  Is the WAKE_DROPPED causing a problem?

 

In KODI, the "return" button works correctly.

I know this was somewhat old, but I would like to give this a try, again.

 

Is there anything I can do to get the back button to work on my device?  Are there log files I can look at?

It's a marketing feature. Once you try ebr's client you'll never go back.

In same boat thought it was just the rom i was using - back button doesn't work on either the remote or the air mouse i have attached - device is allwinner aw80 telos.
