lanos 4 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 So with the death of wmc and emby theater never quite working right for me i've decided to give kodi a try for the first time, and so far I love it except for one issue I can't access my tv shows if I pick tv shows from the main home screen all my series are there (all 290 of them) it even shows me how many unwatched episodes each show has. But, when I click on a series there are no seasons listed and I cant pick any episode. If I use a theme like xperience 1080 which shows episodes on the ehs I can see and play the episodes it displays but if i go to the show itself no seasons display. Any ideas whats going on?
Angelblue05 4132 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 That's an odd bug. When it adds your tv shows, it also adds seasons at the same time so if one part worked, I don't understand how there can be no seasons. How is your structure for your tv show content in Emby?

lanos 4 Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 that was it! the season numbers are blank in the metadata manager. dont know how that happened but now comes the fun part of labeling them 1 by 1. Thanks for the help! 1
Angelblue05 4132 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Yeah it might be the naming of your seasons that's preventing it from being properly detected, because it includes the show's name.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I thought we did not import if we did not have a season number for this reason? Well that was the problem null_pointer. He didn't have season numbers assigned, probably due to the naming convention of his season folders.
lanos 4 Posted October 5, 2015 Author Posted October 5, 2015 the season folder are all named just season 1, season 2 etc they dont have the show name in the folder structure i just put it like that in the example. I'm not sure what went wrong with the metadata maybe its because i used media center master originally? 1
