Finally got myself a upgrade for my server to give me smooth 1080p playback, now it just stops after a few seconds and doenst restart again. Tried lowering the bitrate of ChromeCast from 30 to 12 Mbit, but nothing happens. attached are the log files. Server Log.txt Transcode Log.txt
Luke 42077 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 11 is really the recommended max for chromecast, and even then some content will stutter and lock up because the device just can't handle it. the only reason we have the options to go farther is due to a few persistent users who want to be able to push it to the limit. the default is 3. try going back to that, then increase.
