Feature Request - Add Custom Genre Tags

I'd love to be able to add genre tags to a movie. That way I can view all my movies based on my preferred custom genres

 

Also, another great feature to consider adding is a sort field, that can be entered to override the actual title. This would solve my current issue of keeping sequels together with the original movie.

You can already do both of those things using the metadata manager.  

 

 

You can also use the genre cleaner plugin to automate the genre changes.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm new to MBS and MBT, so I really appreciate the help on that.

 

If you wouldn't mind, can you elaborate on the genre cleaner plugin? What is the difference between it and the regular/default genre settings. Can I not edit the genres without the plugin?

The Genre Cleaner plugin allows you to only allow certain genres, and then you can use it to remap certain genres.  Say Sci-Fi should be Science Fiction, you can set it up so Sci-Fi automatically changes.
