Just realized...trailers havent been downloading for months

Not sure if this question should go into the plugin forum as I'm not sure its a plugin issue...So I go to scheduled tasks and manually perform them and I realize that when I select to download local trailers, it says it takes zero seconds, which I thought was odd.  I havent been paying much attention to my trailer downloads the last few months but then I go to my movie library via windows explorer and do  a search on my most recent -trailer file and march 29 of this year is the last one.  Not sure if that is significant, but I do have the trailer plugin as well.  When I click on triggers for the task, I have had daily time set as well.   I've done no changes to the server aside from keeping it updated so I'm not sure whats going on.  Any help on this?  For downloading local trailers, am I missing a setting somewehere? the ability to download channel content was moved to a plugin called Channel Downloader. this was a couple releases ago and was mentioned in the blog. Only select channels are eligible for downloading, and trailers are not one of them. So, there is no way within the Emby plugin catalog to download trailers. the developer of the theme videos plugin does have a trailer download plugin that is distributed privately though.

O ok...hmmm, im looking for the channel downloader plugin and don't see it in the catalog...am I missing something?

Go to dashboard, plugins, then scroll down ... I see it as the second channel option.  Is this what you see as well?

But as Luke stated Local trailers is no longer an option.  I believe your only option if you want local trailer is Radeon's YTrailer plugin.  Or from another product.

No, not supporter only but maybe there are no versions available that are compatible with the version of the server he has...?

 

In any case, that plug-in isn't going to solve the question in this topic.

Not a supporter (I've considered it quite a bit because I love Emby, but I never seem to have $90 just sitting around for the lifetime membership.

 

If it is a version number issue, that screenshot was posted from the latest official build 3.0.5724.6, but as all have stated, trailers no longer automatically download regardless, though other possibilities exist (see Happy's post).
