Media Library Folders vs Web Client Media Folders

Howdy all,

 

Can someone explain the relationship between the Media library folders that are created in the server and what shows up in the (HOME) web client media view?

 

Example;

 

Under Server Folders I created:

• Blu-Ray Movies
• DVD Movies
• DVD Movie Classics

Under Web Client the following Folders show as:

• Collections
• DVD Movies Classics
• Movies
• TV Series

I did not create a "collections" "TV series" or " Movies" folders with theses names in the server Library.  Why are they listed in the web client media?

Have you looked at My View and View Styles in User Settings?  Collections is an option, TV should only appear if you have TV Content in library.

Thanks, I overlooked this setting.  Another question, Do these settings have any affect on how content is displayed and viewed in KODI when using the Emby Kodi add-on?

These settings will determine what nodes are available for you to use when setting up skin shortcuts in kodi
