Happy2Play 9783 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Most of the time the task hangs in the task manager. It is hit and miss on systems it happens on. You can update from website with out any issues. Stable Release
stavroz 0 Posted September 23, 2015 Author Posted September 23, 2015 it actually updates ok and the service starts up . all works well. its just the next day when i start up the server its back to the old version somehow.

Never heard that one. I don't see how it is possible since the system folder is renamed to .old and a new system folder is created with the new version.
stavroz 0 Posted September 23, 2015 Author Posted September 23, 2015 ok thanks , im going to check that happens. ive even gone as far as uninstalling the old one, reboot, reinstall latest version but still no luck
Happy2Play 9783 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Do you happen to have two installs? MediaBrowser-Server and Emby-Server C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming 1
ebr 16187 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Or, the server is installed for two different users...
stavroz 0 Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 i think it was a combination of an old version in one user and emby in another. i unistalled and deleted folders in 2 users. seems to be ok now. thanks.
