Wheemer 50 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 I'm trying to get Emby properly connected to coachpotato and sonarr, however I am failing to find the api key settings in Emby. I've searched a while and couldn't find anything helpful.
ebr 16184 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Where are you trying to do this...? We don't really require any integration there. Just have those other programs put the files in the right place and either name them properly or use our auto-organize from there.
Wheemer 50 Posted September 19, 2015 Author Posted September 19, 2015 I am looking at coachpotato emby options and it wants an api key for emby
Luke 42079 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 It's under Advanced. Ebr - i did work with Josh4trunks lately on getting this done, so we have an api for them to notify us. It's for people who have the library monitor disabled and don't use our auto-organize, or can't because we don't support it for movies.
Wheemer 50 Posted September 19, 2015 Author Posted September 19, 2015 I don't believe I have the library monitor disabled, where would I check that? I was just noticing it in the new version of coachpotato and thought I overlooked some things. Previously I still had coachpotatro setup to notify kodi. But I think that's no longer needed??
Wheemer 50 Posted September 19, 2015 Author Posted September 19, 2015 I don't have it under advanced either... I am running the DEV version
Luke 42079 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 ok, then you'll either need to wait or go back to the stable release if you want to use it immediately.
Luke 42079 Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 the only purpose of the notification is to help get it scanned into the library without having to wait for the next scheduled library scan. if you're on windows and you haven't disabled the library monitor, then more than likely this isn't going to do anything for you.
Wheemer 50 Posted September 19, 2015 Author Posted September 19, 2015 Library is set to auto, so I assume I do not require this integration?
Wheemer 50 Posted September 19, 2015 Author Posted September 19, 2015 OK cool ignoring this... I stopped coachpotato from notifying kodi aswell since I guess that is not needed.
