smidley 22 Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I'm running Version 3.0.5724.3 (Stable). I go into Admin > Metadata Manager > Movies > Movie Name. When I used to go here, there was an option to Identify movies. Here's what I see now: http://imgur.com/XkOwDFY If I click the three dots, I get the option to Advanced Refresh, but that doesn't re-identify the movie. Here is what it used to look like: http://imgur.com/aAYfB4T
Raff 51 Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I have the same version and two things are different. First, I do still have the Identify button. The second thing I notice is that I have a Subtitles tab between Metadata and Images that you don't appear to have. I'm on Chrome 45.(something) and Win10 just in case that may make a difference. Is that a crop of the full screen? I also have the tree menu on the left, which makes me think you may be on a different browser, forex mobile, that would account for the difference.
Luke 42083 Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 You only get subtitles for movies and episodes. If the identify option is not showing up at all, then something in the folder structure is not conforming to movie naming guidelines: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Movie%20naming So best to post screens of the folder.
smidley 22 Posted September 18, 2015 Author Posted September 18, 2015 I don't have the identify option for anything anymore - not just this one movie I was trying to fix. I'm using Chrome 45 on windows 10. Tried IE as well. Server is running Server 2012 R2. Here's a screenshot of the file in the folder structure. It's the same as all of my other movies: http://imgur.com/j6AReut Here's a full screenshot of the metadata manager as it shows up on my screen: http://imgur.com/mJJ5XE1
Luke 42083 Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 your video file extension is .mkv - bluray not a valid extension for videos. try just .mkv
smidley 22 Posted September 18, 2015 Author Posted September 18, 2015 (edited) your video file extension is .mkv - bluray not a valid extension for videos. try just .mkv Yep that fixed it. My mistake. I normally do moviename (year) - bluray.ext Somehow I screwed up the order Thanks! Edited September 18, 2015 by smidley
