PoBear 19 Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Hi I've accidently defined a new media folder where the disk folder is a parent of two folders, each of which was previously defined to EMBY. So I had folders B and C defined as media folders and I've now defined A as a media folder, both B and C are sub folders of A. The original media folders (B and C) are now showing as empty and their contents plus the content of A is showing as two new media folders TV and Movies, neither of which is showing in the Libraries section. I've tried clearing it up through the Dashboard but I can't delete any of the media folders involved. The Delete appears to be accepted but the entry is not removed. I've tried at both the disk folder level and the media folder with no success. Re-cycling the server makes no difference. Any ideas how to clear this up? Thanks
Luke 42083 Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 You lost me. Maybe some screenshots would make it easier to understand. In general though, the simpler you keep things, the simpler everything is going to be.
ebr 16187 Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 You can't do that. See this topic. If you want to have a media folder with both B and C in them just add both of those locations.
PoBear 19 Posted September 17, 2015 Author Posted September 17, 2015 Apparently you can do it but it screws your system! Is there anyway out of this, as I said in my original post, the delete function is not working on these libraries?
