Giving chapter number as parameter to mpc-hc external player

I have Theater configured to use mpc-hc as an external player, because of stuttering with the builtin player (tried EVR, EVR+, MadVR and tried avoid shuttering and all of the other options). Calling mpc-hc from Theater works fine, but it would be great if I could supply a chapter number as a parameter for example using {CHAPTER}, just like how {PATH} is subsituted to the full path of the video file. I noticed {CHAPTER} doesn't work. Is there some way to get this working?

Maybe the new version of MBT will work properly with emby chapters. 

 

I use MPC-HC as the external player with EMC and also via the MPC Remote for use with the WebUI. And in both cases I can start playback at any specific chapter.

 

Passing a chapter number to MPC-HC could only work if all your content had actual chapters within the video container - but many don't, so emby creates it's own chapters at each 5 minute interval. MPC-HC would have no clue about those.

All my files have chapters. But I noticed that mpc-hc only accepts a chapter number as a parameter when opening dvd's...
