Manually Editing Metadata

I have a few TV Shows in my library, organized as TV, but I am having one problem. I have The Office, the american version in my library, but the show that emby keeps showing is the british version. I have tried to edit the metadata but it seems like it is just holding up when i submit the changes. The steps that I am using are, viewing my library through the online portal, selecting TV Shows --> Shows --> The Office --> Edit --> Identify --> If i don't change anything and select search, it searches and only finds the american version. That is where my first questions comes into play, if i can only see the american version in my search, then why is emby showing me the british version? Next i select the correct version, select submit, and it just loads, nothing more happens.I can keep hitting submit and the same thing happens, so when i click cancel, it has not changed any of the metadata. What am i doing wrong?

The identification is probably working but then the web UI is getting stuck after the fact. That is probably why going back to the office shows you the american version with Identify. I will test and resolve this for the next release. Thanks.

This may be of help to you, not sure. As i am adding episodes to my server, from the office series. Emby seems to be using both the british version and the american version to fill out the metadata. Here is a screenshot, i am not sure why there are exclamation points on some of the episodes, they arent on the first 6, but as you can tell from the pictures they are from the two different shows as far as i am aware.

It's not using both at the same time, rather it was using one, then the identify feature changed it so new episodes going forward are based on the new data. there is an option within identify to replace the images but it sounds like you couldn't see that due to the web interface issue you mentioned. so that's why the previous ones haven't changed.

I saw that option, and it was checked, but when I i clicked submit it didn't change anything.

The option works, but who knows, maybe we tried to save and your file system didn't allow us. Or maybe the form in the web interface just didn't submit based on what i already mentioned. anyway i think we're going in circles here. i don't think there's anything more to look into. the core identification feature is fine, there just appears to be an issue in the web UI that impairs filling out the form and submitting it. and as mentioned already in post #2 i will look at it and make sure it's resolved for the next release.
