thefirstofthe300 292 Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I have been attempting to get some movies up into the cloud and am having a tough time doing it. I have a slow internet connection (about 2Mbps up) and this problem only seems to happen with movies. Anyway, the error is that it can't seem to find the file. However, the sync works for about two and a half hours (based on start and error times). The upload must error out and when the plugin attempts to re-upload, the file is gone. I did a search in the Emby sync folder and I can confirm it is gone. Logs: https://ptpb.pw/WnJa.txt Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Luke 42083 Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Ok, interesting. it's uploading successfully but then the google drive api call to find the file is not returning it for some reason.
thefirstofthe300 292 Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 What the????? I just looked and I somehow ended up with two Emby Sync folders and I can tell you that the one folder that seems to be the one that Emby is using does NOT have any Pacific Rim video in it. Let me just totally reset my sync configuration for Google Drive and I will retry. This isn't the first time that I have had this issue though. There have been multiple different times this has happened. I am really wondering if this is a problem with the Drive API being screwed up.
thefirstofthe300 292 Posted September 11, 2015 Author Posted September 11, 2015 (edited) Just an update on this problem. I uninstalled the plugin and deleted all sync jobs in addition to the sync folder. I also re-added my Google account; however, I didn't delete the config so the project ID and security code where still entered. I am still having the issue. However it appeared on a different file due to some movies getting added since that sync job was created. The interesting thing was that syncing uploaded a 2GB file just fine but failed with another file. Logs: https://ptpb.pw/99Sl.txt Edited September 11, 2015 by DaBungalow
thefirstofthe300 292 Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 So Luke, is there a way that the server could handling synced content disappearing gracefully? It is rather annoying to me that one file disappearing causes sync to go crazy. I can believe at some point that someone will get really annoyed because they or someone with access to the account deleted content on the remote server and suddenly Emby starts throwing errors on every cloud sync job.
