Hi !

I've installed MBT on a PC which is not the PC where MB3 Server is running.

All is good (Server setup is available) but when i launch a video...i've a black screen and nothing happen.

With an external player...the same issue.

I've installed MBT on the same PC of MB3 Server with the same options and it works very well.

I join the log file.

Thanks for your help...

Are our shares set up as unc paths? What file type are your media?

Hi Nelcruz,

What do you mean "UNC paths" ?

MB3 Server is installed on a PC and MBT installed on an another PC.

I setup MBT3 with IP adress and Port of the PC which runs MB3 Server.

On MBT i see all my library

But when i launch a video i've just a black screen et nothing happen. If i stop the video i'm back to library.

Files are video files (avi, mkv)

I've find a solution to this issue.

On MB3 Server i changed the way to add folders to the media libray.

For example, instead of the path D:\Movies i've add \\PCserver.name\Movies (Movies is shared on local network) choosing
"network" option.

And then i can play on MBT on my second PC all videos located in the media library.

Those are the "UNC" paths that Nelcruz asked you about, above. That is the method recommended in the Wiki, and repeatedly here at the forum. Glad you found the solution, though! :D
