Unable to Add to Gamebrowser

Hi, i previously used gamebrowser and had everything functional. i've not touched it in the last year but i decided i wanted to add my PS3, PS4 and vita games, not to play, but just to use a a library. it doesnt seem possible to add further game systems to then add the games. the gamebrowser plugin config page just displays a blank screen, i tired uninstalling and reinstalling but no go.

 

i've seen posts about manually editing an xml to get functionality in EMC but i don't even need that. i've tried editing a gamesystem.xml but again, no go

 

any ideas?

is gamebrowser not functional at the moment then?

 

edit, i can now see three initial options within the config page but clicking on the platform config link takes me to a blank screen

i see someone has fixed this. How can we get new consoles added to the game platform list?

hi, yeah its moved on a little since the first post. i just want to add PS3, PS4 and PS Vita as game platform types. i cannot see where the list is drawn from, if there's anything limiting it or if i can add any more. emumovies seems to be the metadata source but i cannot make any sense of this website

so, for xbox360 games i have added a fake game.iso within the media folder and now emby allows me to detect them. but i can't find any of my games. for alan wake i have added both the year and the gamesdb id but all it returns is one game called blood wake. alan wake is listed on the gamesdb a that is where i got the id from.

 

i see ps3, ps4 and vita games are all listed on the gamesdb but even after creating the fake iso's i am not able to identify them, i guess this is because none of these are available through the gamebrowser plugin. so could these please be added?

No, it has not. What you're suggesting here is a good idea.

The GameBrowser plugin has been updated with a new configuration screen to match the look and feel of the rest of Emby Server. I think you'll find it much more enjoyable to use and configure now. 

 

We are looking for contributors who might be interested in helping with other GameBrowser development, so if that's something you'd like to help out with then please let us know.
