badaas 139 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) I'm using kodi remotely, and everytime im moving through the librarys its giving me blank images while im guessing waiting to download from server. But why is it re-downloading images that are already cached? If it isnt downloading images then its waiting for something before the image is served up to content..? I mean I have watched status load straight away, along with codecs etc, just metadata images take an age to populate.. Edited September 1, 2015 by badaas
Angelblue05 4132 Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Are you sure that's what is happening? Images won't be redownloaded if they are already cached. The only time content gets cached is when it's added or updated in the library and you have the option in the add-on enabled. Otherwise it should be good to go. However I'm not sure the same applies for widget. Maybe a log would show why?
