Is it normal for a music collection not to have a dynamic thumb like movies or series do?

I mean the one where the covers will be shown side by side in the main view. Mine displays like so:

I'd rather not set a static one using the metadata editor if possible. I'm running the Emby server version 3.0.5675.1 on a Windows 10 machine (not as a service) and accessing it through Firefox. The latest android app also displays it the same way.

So, an update: it seems the issue fixed itself for some reason, it displays correctly now. Thank you all.
