Emby theatre for Linux?

I really like the look of emby theatre but am using a comination of chromebox, brix and pi2 devices on openelec at the moment and would like to load emby theatre if possible.

 

At the moment it's windows only but is there any news on if this will itself become cross device with a lightweight build to run on or are we going to have to continue with kodi and the emby plugin?
