Are multiple levels of subfolders supported on media libraries?

When you open a photo, does it show fullscreen or with the metadata? I just upgraded to the latest beta and it still shows the metadata instead of full screen.

You need to enable Style for your photo folder again.

It works on web view. But Android app needs to be updated.

I see now what you are saying.   However, is there a way to turn off (or hide) the "Photos" tab? That tab tries to list tens of thousands of pictures by creating thumbnails of all the pictures in all subfolders.   I liked the Style View disabled because this option was not there. (Again, but then the image doesn't display in full screen).

Since your folder structure is very similar as mine, I have another question. Are we supposed to get thumbnails on the folders for the year? (The ones below). It seems like the thumbnails only show for the folders directly containing the pictures (but not anything above that).

No you cannot disable the photo tab. But you don't need to click on it :)

Since you have subfolders no dynamic folder pic gets created. Solution one: create a folder.jpg in the year subfolder. Solution two: place 4 pictures in the year folder , go to metadata manager and do an advanced refresh just for pictures and not for data.

That makes sense. Thanks for your reply. Now, if I wanted to stay with the style disabled for pictures, is the current functionality of displaying each picture with the metadata a bug or is by design? (I hope its bug so at some point it can be fixed and have the full photo displayed :) )

I'm pretty sure it's by design, when I check my Homevideo folder, it acts the same (with Details Page).
