help with live tv

I am not able to view live tv on my nvidia shield/android tv. I can navigate through the channel guide, but when I select a show to watch, the screen goes black and after about a minute there is a message that says "video playback error - failed to load video." I am able to watch live tv from my Chrome browser and my phone (android 4.4.2) without any problems.

 

The server Version 3.0.5713.2. Windows 8.1.

I'm pretty sure this is going to be something on the server so I'm going to move over there so Luke can look at your log.  It is one huge list of the same error...

i would need the server log with debug logging on. but transcoding seems fine so either there's a delivery problem or a client-side problem.

I also am having this issue. It plays on my Roku perfectly but I get the same error message as @@capt_obvious. I know Emby was updated last night on the Shield but I haven't tried it today. I will later this evening and see what it does.

Are there any settings on the app or server that i should be tinkering with to try to figure this out? there really arent many settings on the app that can be changed.
