Recorded TV and IPTv

Couple of questions I'm hoping people can help me with,

1. Can media browser read the meta data Windows creates from recorded tv ? I was using recordedtvhd but wanted to integrate it into emby completely.

 

2. Is there any way to test it he IPTV , it's not something I have ever really used but started playing with it last night with very limited success. I could get links to open and they did briefly before closing down, I'm wanting to see if its a link, internet or player issue, any ideas ?
