MPC-HC Locks up during Movie Playback

Wasn't sure where to put this. Mods if this is the wrong please move.

 

I've been having an issue lately where I'm playing an mkv movie in MPC-HC on my HTPC, streamed from MBS (separate server box with WHS2011), and at some random point the movie will freeze. Unfortunately it locks the whole HTPC where my only option to restart the computer.

 

Seems like this is an MPC-HC issue as both windows and MBS show no problems in the logging. Just that the computer was shut down improperly. I enabled logging in MPC-HC under "Advanced", but I can't find where its keeping those logs.

 

Any help is appreciated as rebooting the computer is getting annoying.

First thought at a culprit is video drivers.

I'm running the most current Intel drivers for my HD4600 iGPU. It also seemed to do it in the previous drivers too.
