Shyatic 5 Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 First, I understand that the DVR function has been implemented into this... so can I replace my Windows Media Center? The only reason I have it is to record shows that are "Premium" cable shows, like Game of Thrones, and HBO/Showtime or any other protected content. Will I be able to record that content with this, and play it back on any Emby client? Secondly, before I plunge to do the upgrade... does it support the Ceton card that I have in my PC? It's not a network tuner (though I think it can be made one), it's a PCI card that's in my PC. It's also one of the more popular ones that are out there. Appreciate the help and am very much enjoying the updates!
ebr 16184 Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 At this time, the built-in Emby TV only supports the HD Homerun DLNA tuners. As for protected content, WMC is still the only option for that.
