Movie Titles Are Scrambled, But Not Music

Installed the Emby Server/System to compare to Plex. I like Plex, but the server disconnects frequently and it is quite frustrating.

A friend recommended Emby and so far so good. 

 

A strange problem is that almost all movie titles are scrambled on the server, web and Android client. The music as mentioned is not. I rip to folder formats, but these titles are converted to mp4's.

What does it look like when you are viewing an individual movie (instead of the group view that you posted)?  Is the information still scrambled?

 

What does the information look like for the movie(s) in the metadata manager?  Is it still scrambled, or is it just when you view multiple movies at once, like going to the "Movies" tab?

I'm sure this is the problem. I remember my initial scan (in progress) looking like this.

This is resolved for the next release.

I installed Emby on my Windows10 main desktop PC and do not have this problem.

 

The problem exists on the Windows HomeServer 2011 box with Emby installed. I uninstalled and resinstalled

and the problem persists. 

 

Per the admin I'll wait for the next release and check back.  Thanks for your input.
