Live tv working?

.Does anyone have live tv working with the new version 3.0.5713?

I am running in unraid docker. Upgrade to new version ok but get error when clicking save by "enable this tuner" after clicking hdhomerun.

Thanks

Only reason that would happen is if the server can't reach the ip address listed

There is no IP address listed after I choose "hdhomerun" from drop down

I click on "enable this tuner" anyway and get the error

Should there be an ip listed to the right of "tuner up address:" before enabling the tuner?

Well yes you have to enter it, or wait to see if the server auto-discovers it.

thanks for the quick replies

see attachements:

Pic1 - screen I get at start

pic 2 - after I choose "hdhomerun"

nothing is autodetected.   I enter in the IP manually and click "save"

pic 3 - the error I get after clicking "save"

Do I need to add a guide provider before trying to add the hdhomerun?  after clicking "hdhomerun" the option to add a guide provide is not there (pic 2)

thanks

can you enable debug logging, try again, and then post that log? thanks.

I saw there was a docker upgrade today..so I ran that and it seemed to roll back my Emby server version to 3.0.5675.1.  So there is no livetv option - its back to the plugin approach.

its  a "dual" model

see attached for last few server logs

Live TV only works with the newer DLNA capable HDHomeRun models (CONNECT, EXTEND, and Prime).  The Dual (HDHR3) is not DLNA capable.

Too bad if that is the case, and the server can't do the transcoding

I have been looking to buy an "extend" model on amazon for weeks but for some reason it has been out of stock

Just noticed this in the blog

Supports HD Homerun Transcoding

If you have an HD Homerun that supports H264 transcoding, Emby will take advantage of it whenever possible in order to offload transcoding and preserve resources on your server machine.

Are you sure it won't support the dual model? This reads like it will

Thanks
