Splitting library?

I've tried to find guides on how to configure the Emby server so that the movie library is split into two sections; Movies and Kids Movies.

With MB2 I just had a directory for Kids Movies and one for Movies.

 

With Emby all my movies are added to the same library. 

 

Can I split the Emby movie library according to directories on the server? How do I do that?

Go to user icon top right click it then settings-Home Screen

Thanks, but I'm not able to get it to work.

 

My Libary within the Emby Server has Movies. Under Movies two directories are added.

 

On the emby server I select Home.

I see all the movies mixed together (Parents and Kids content).

I select the user icon in the upper right corner > Settings.

Then I pick Home Screen tab and scroll down to My Views *

I check the item "Display a folders view to show plain media folders".

Save settings.

 

When I go to the front I can select "Folders". Then I have the option Movies, TV Series. If I pick Movies I see Parents and Kids movies mixed.

 

I do understand that the Library and meta data is much more flexible. Is there a way that I can get emby to use the directory to update the library meta data to classify movies under \\server\kidsmovies as kids movies?

Then you can separate their views.

Thanks Happ2play - that's exactly what I'm trying to achive. Just haven't figured it out yet. Where are you in Emby on the first screen shot?

 

Koleckai - how do I create multiple Libraries. On the emby server I have Library. I'm adding directories and setting a type like movie. I can't spot the place where I define additional libraries.

Doh! 

Now I get it. Create new library and setup Kids Movies.

 

 

Now I get a split on the home screen for Movies, TV series and Kids Movies.
