Migrating Server over to new PC

I'm building a better, faster server and will be doing a clean (not an update) install of Windows 10.  What is the best way to migrate Emby over without losing anything or minimizing any issues?  Which directories exactly do I need to make sure not forget to copy over?  I understand the metadata directories but what folders within the Local Disk should I not forget?  I'll also be maintinaing the drive names/locations when I migrate to the new server.

Thanks

Have you seen the Server Configuration Backup plugin?  Or see this topic.

I see absolutely no benefits of switching to Windows 10, IMHO it has no redeeming qualities, but to each their own.

LOL, I kinda of knew that comment was coming at some point. Only a matter of time before the trolls started pokin their head out.  You provided zero help with what my actual question was.  I never understood this aspect of internet forums..it's the same no matter which one you frequent...always somebody out there that just HAS to throw something totally useless into the arena.  I wish I could interview people like you and find out how that brain works, because I'm from the real world and I doin't understand that mentality.  Ya know...if ya don't like it, just STFU and move onto the next post that you CAN help somebody with. Who cares that YOU don't like the new Windows...hell, you might even be right about it...but my question wasn't "Hey guys (and gals), what do you think about Windows 10?"  How did your comment assist me in my original question? It didn't...

I've got it loaded on all 5 of my clients for the past few weeks.  I actually love it...have had no issues whatsoever on it, everything runs smoothly and I like the interface...I want to now migrate my server over to it...my choice, and if it fails, it's my problem...

Anyway, let me lighten the mood and say I love coming here as most of time it's been extremely helpful to me.  I've got my question answered and I'm good to go.  I'm done here, but feel free to post some smart comment back...I know you won't be able to resist the urge, LOL.

Now,  BACK to the actual original question...

@@Happy2Play, yes, I actually have the Server Backup Plugin and I hadn't seen that post about moving the server to a new machine...my fail on not researching properly I guess, LOL.  But thanks for the helpful post and I'll make sure I utilize those tools when I get the migration going...
