Trelane 38 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Love to see VLC player integration on the FireTV platform. I can now direct play HEVC content with no transcoding. However currently playback is spotty. I get a lot of breakup in the image when playing HEVC or AVC with AAC audio in an mp4 container. If I switch back to emby's native player, AVC content plays fine and HEVC is transcoded and also plays fine. Does VLC need to mature in the android/FireOS platform? These same files play fine on a standard PC running VLC. Thank you, this is a great start!
