intros integration with home automation

this may be a little far fetched, but i am hoping that on one specific PC running Emby for WMC, I can get it to integrate with my home automation (Vera/Z-wave) using http commands (I already know how to do this part). Basically, what I am hoping to do is that for specific media types (HD DVD, Blu Ray, DVD), I can include an http command as part of the intro that would then adjust the lighting. Would this be possible at all?

Have you checked out the Vera Home Automation Plugin available in the catalog? I have not started home automation but it might be what your looking for.

yeah, it only took a minute once i found out there was a plugin. i love it
