chef 3810 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Yep, I made an emby t-shirt and I'm gonna wear it! You're welcome! And actually... @@Luke, @@Scott, @@ebr you should make them too, and sell them, because you'll be able to sell them cheaper to the community in bulk, then what i paid (which was about twenty five bucks with shipping) You get enough orders and you could probably still make a profit selling them at 10-15 bucks each. I'll wear mine with pride! 8
chef 3810 Posted August 19, 2015 Author Posted August 19, 2015 A nerd with an emby t shirt lol... Maybe some hot pants next? Hmmm... 2
Angelblue05 4132 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Using the old logo on it? I see that giant gap between the logo icon and emby on the t-shirt lol....
chef 3810 Posted August 19, 2015 Author Posted August 19, 2015 Using the old logo on it? I see that giant gap between the logo icon and emby on the t-shirt lol.... Biggest version I could find on the tracker.
mediacowboy 438 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) Should do the logo and then under say "Taking your media experience to the next level." On the back say "Ask me how." I would were them everyday. Edited August 19, 2015 by mediacowboy 1
jasonmcroy 316 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 I guess I am a nerd too, I would buy one.
mediacowboy 438 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Better yet, I'll take a travel mug and a coffee cup. 2
CBers 7450 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Emby merchandising is a good idea, but who has the time
im85288 1493 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Anything Kodi can do Emby can do better.... http://teespring.com/en-GB/stores/kodi-t-shirt-store 3
ebr 16169 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 At one point, we had this in the works but whoever was in charge of it either left or it just fell by the wayside. Good thing, I guess, since we've now changed the name and logo . I can't remember the site we were using though...
ebr 16169 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Ahh... it was Cafe Press but, reading their consumer reviews, I don't think we'd want to use them. Lots of complaints of really poor quality items and high shipping costs.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Biggest version I could find on the tracker. How big do you need it? Let me know, I'll get it to you vectorized at proper size.
Vicpa 611 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 @@ebr The name and logo change would have created a new revenue stream I am up for a shirt or mug.
Angelblue05 4132 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 It's also possible to have phone cases done, right?
im85288 1493 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Toilet roll, baby wipes, perfume, aftershave, pens, pencils 3
mediacowboy 438 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 In all honesty does Emby have anyone doing publicity? I mean it would be cool to start seeing it being reviewed more in the tech sites. I have no problem spreading the word as I know of four people I have personal brought to the software.
im85288 1493 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Well there is this thread here one it: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/895-promoting-emby/ I think it's starting to creep up on people, was nice to see it being compared vs plex the other day.
chef 3810 Posted August 19, 2015 Author Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) I can't remember the company I used, but if it good, I will let you know... Edit: the company name was SpreadShirt After doing some quoting, they seemed to be the best for t shirts. There was no bulk orders nessessary and the shipping was reasonable. I buy all my clothes online, this was the first time I created my own shirt. We will have to see how the silk screen is. The band I play in uses another company, but that company wants bulk orders. speechles 2055 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) With Christmas coming.. But yeah, the options are limited by imagination. This is a good idea to grow brand awareness, and create excitement. Where is the "emby store" links? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk Edited August 19, 2015 by speechles
fantaxp7 191 Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 At first I thought that was a whoopee cushion
