Error playing MKVs with TrueHD audio

If I enable bitstreaming over HDMI on my windows 10 server\Emby theater box I get 'there was an error processing the request' when playing mkvs with TrueHD audio.  I don't think this is an emby error as I can replicate the issue in MPC-HC on the same system with the same options enabled.

 

It's possible this is a driver issue but for now is there any way to configure bitstreaming in MBT for each audio type individually without using mpc-hc as an external player?

We're in the same page here. Ended up using external player (MPC-HC) as I have lots of trueHD and dolby atmos movies audio format in my media repository.
