Music album naming problems

Hi all,

 

I recently started using Emby as Plex missed some features I wanted.

I seem to have some problems with the naming of my music albums though.

 

I have a personal naming convention for all my files and directories allowing only alphanumeric lower case characters.

Emby seems to base its naming for albums on the name of the directories instead of the album metadata of the individual files.

 

 

Is this default behaviour? Can this be changed?

My movies and TV series have the same file/directory naming convention and are displayed correctly by their metadata.

Currently no, we use the folder names, but this is planned for improvement in the future.
