t10ake 0 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 (edited) Noticed in the last few weeks that something has changed with regard to parental rating. My region is set to UK and would like all parental ratings to have the GB- prefix as was normal behaviour. Recently, when using the "refresh" button in metadata manager, or when adding new items to the movies library, Emby is allocating a US Parental Rating. Now interestingly, when reviewing the drop down box manually for parental rating, all the GB- items are listed, as is the one american rating picked up by the refresh. So it seems the issue is to do with some sort of bug in the refresh routine, rather than my settings? I could be wrong though? I should add, this was all working fine until recently, unfortunately I can't tell you exactly when it started going funky, as I only noticed it this week. Thanks for the support Tim Edit: Running server Version 3.0.5675.1 Edited August 15, 2015 by t10ake
Luke 42080 Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Thanks. This will be resolved for the next release of the server. 1

badaas 139 Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) same here stuck on US mpaa ratings even though basic country is UK same with DEV server.. Edited August 18, 2015 by badaas
Luke 42080 Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 The new release will not change your existing metadata, it will only prevent it from happening in the future. and make sure to consult Tmdb to see the data that is actually available.
badaas 139 Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) Right, so how I remove and get UK? Beings as this has borked them to US, im stuck.. And also, I still got US with UK set in server basics on new releases.. Edited August 18, 2015 by badaas
badaas 139 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 So basically i'm stuffed unless I delete all nfos and start again? Or use 3rd party software to help your software? I just rescanned with new dev server and it replaced all my mpaa with US even though i'm set as UK..
Luke 42080 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/790-how-to-report-a-problem/ Please describe in a way that clearly communicates the problem with descriptive examples and steps to reproduce.
badaas 139 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Same as OP. Web app, set metadata basic to country UK. Add film to library via move to movies /dir, wait for server to collate infos. Go to film, it has an US mpaa rating regardless of being set to UK. Set existing film to GB-PG, force refresh rescan library, said film gets reset to US mpaa for whatever rating is set in TMDb. And repeat. If you cant repro with that STR, I will find a log (which from the link provided doesnt tell of location).
badaas 139 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Actually I think the issue is PG-13. This isn't a BBFC rating! Yet it is in server dropdown for UK. So I'm guessing this may be the issue..

CBers 7451 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 http://www.bbfc.co.uk/about-bbfc/faqs You might wanna change that image - it has your external IP address on it!
badaas 139 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Expand on example? The above doesn't explain why it overwrote my UK rating with a refresh though.,
badaas 139 Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Problem is having OMDB as first choice in scraper it seems. Have moved TMDb to first choice and force refresh has changed to UK ratings. Why OMDB is giving everything an R rating is daft imho. And this must stop secondary scraper filling correct info.. So I guess this is why OMDB was overwriting my manual additions with it's R (which in BBFC speak means 'refused a rating!').
