iOS Devices can't cast to chromecast

I recently installed Emby Media Server on my Windows 7 PC.

I also use a Chromecast to stream content to TV.

 

I don't have any problems finding my Chromecast on my iOS devices. 

I have used this for Netflix, YouTube etc.

 

But when I use the Emby web app I can't seem to find the chromecast. It does find my browser on the PC.

 

But when I use my Android phone or laptop it is possible to cast to Chromecast.

 

How is it that both iOS devices I used (iPhone 5s and iPad2) can't seem to find my chromecast in the browser?

Because google doesn't support it in mobile browsers. Our upcoming ios app will support chromecast.

I've read about the new iOS app. 

What is the timeline on that? Weeks, months?
