geaves 13 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Emby runs on an headless ubuntu server, occasionally I check to see if there are any updates, sometimes using ssh and sometimes webmin. Yesterday logging in using ssh I'm greeted with 144 package updates, ouch!! a quick look via webmin reveals that these are related to packages installed by Emby, should these be updated or ignored? This is the information from the first item on the list Thanks.
fc7 123 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Mono was updated in Emby repos. It's ok to update it. Just be aware that there are several users reporting issues with the new debian/ubuntu emby packages scripts. You may want to delay the update since these are Emby package revisions and not really an Emby server release update so you may end up messing your Emby server for no real benefit.
