ABotelho 3 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Installed Emby on top of CentOS 7 and I'm having issues with accessing the web interface. I'm getting nothing but connection refused.I've tried poking holes in my firewall on the server, notably 8096 udp/tcp. I've also tried completely disabling the firewall on my server, but it's still rejecting my connection. SELinux is also Persmissive.I honestly can't think of anything else. Any help guys?
Solution fc7 123 Posted August 12, 2015 Solution Posted August 12, 2015 (edited) Check if Emby is running/listening on the correct ports with netstat command for example. If it does then is highly probable that you need to check again your firewall settings. As an option you can temporaly disable firewalld and try again. Also you can try disabling Selinux for testing. I had uncontable issues in the past with many different apps and Selinux. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited August 12, 2015 by fc7 1
ABotelho 3 Posted August 12, 2015 Author Posted August 12, 2015 Qell then, I feel like a moron!Something must not have worked, but I was going along believing that emby was running, when it wasn't! Dunno why, but I guess systemctl enable emby-server and systemctl start emby-server wasn't surviving reboots so it wasn't even running. Got it all figured out now!Thank you for your immense patience, I truly appreciate it!
