Sync'd videos do not play

Hello, I've sync'd one tv series to google drive using both the baseline and general settings both on high (quality i assume?) after syncing the series, which does not report any errors, i cant play back the same episodes. it doesnt work in the browser nor on a roku, you just get a spinning wheel. i had stuff synced before so i'm fairly sure i know what i'm doing there, i think previously it played back the local version, now it doesn't seem to work at all.
