Server Configuration Backup

Does the server configuration backup save the played state of TV if you were to reinstall Emby server?

If you tell it to, yes.

It is possible to back up user data and then restore that data into the target system (even into different users).

Hi ebr, is there a wiki to explain this? I have found the wiki but could not see an explanation of how to do it.

No but it really should be self-explanatory from the config page.  You just check off to backup users and user data and then, on the restore, you just assign the user data to the proper users.

How does one RESTORE after using this plugin to do a backup?

EDIT - Nevermind.  I never actually configured the plugin, lol.  Looks like it will display it once You've made a backup.  :)

Make sure you are pointing it to the parent directory of the backup folders, not one of the backups itself.

I am pointing it to the directory which has 5 backup folders in it for the last 5 days. Using latest stable server and plugin
